Passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge, Badger Quay on November 2, 2013, Julianna Sturge age 82 years of Brookfield. Predeceased by her parents; John and Beatrice Ricketts, husband; Philip, son; Philip Jr and sister; Emma. Leaving to mourn with treasured memories are 2 daughters; Beatrice (Ted Grimes) of Little Bay Islands, Patsy (Peter Stratton) of Brookfield, sister; Mary Attwood residing at Lakeside Homes, Gander, grandchildren; Kimberly (Perry), Philip (Lisa), Niki (Corey) and Robert (Lori), great-grandchildren; Kyle, Chelsea, Haley, Shane, Emily, Ryder and Clarke and a circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was held on November 5, 2013 at Ebenezer United Church, Brookfield with Rev. Brian Hannon officiating. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery, Brookfield.
