BRIGGS, FANNIE - On Tuesday, November 12th, 2013 Fannie Bernice Briggs passed away peacefully at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital, Fredericton. Born in Gaspereau Forks, NB on June 15th, 1914, daughter of the late Grover and Violet (Bishop) Lemon. Fannie is survived by her daughters, Muriel Jardine and Hazel (Allan) White; brothers, Howard (Mary) Lemon and Clifford (Marina) Lemon; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Predeceased by her husband George; brother, Lorenzo Lemon; sisters, Olive Bishop, Dewilda McNicol, Zella Lemon and son-in-law Emsley Jardine.
Family will receive comfort at the Chipman Funeral Home (339-6612) on Friday, November 15th, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A celebration of Fannie’s life will be held at the First Chipman United Baptist Church, Gaspereau Forks on Saturday, November 16th, 2013 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. David Egers officiating. Interment will be made in the First Chipman United Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
