On November 6, 2013, Fred Meadows of Sherwood Park, Alberta, passed away peacefully after a valiant struggle with cancer, at the age of 72. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Gail of 51 years; his two sons and one daughter; Glenn (Tania), Scott (Lori), Dawn (Robert) Lemke; his four grandsons, Andrew, Evan, Garrett and Carson. He will also be missed by his in-laws, the Drummonds: Stuart (Ada), Thane (Ann), Robin (Kathie), Joanne and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Frances, and brother-in-law Ian Drummond. A celebration of Fred's life was held on Sunday, Nov. 10, at Park Place Funeral Home in Sherwood Park, Alberta, with Rev. Liz Carter-Morgan officiating.
