The death of Laurent Perret, age 83 years of Duck Lake, SK occurred on November 14, 2013 at Goodwill Manor Care Home, Duck Lake, SK. Laurent is survived by his: wife of 46 years, Freida; daughter, Rachelle (David) Pilon and their children Rylan and Kyler; son Colin and his children Jacelyn and Kaden; sister, Lucille (Gilles) Gaudet; sisters-in-law Marie-Laure Perret, Florence Perret; brother-in-law Raymond Pelletier; Freida’s siblings: Gertie Fayant, Georgette Pilon, Florence (Harry) Gutsch, Pauline (Ray) Hille, Jill (Al) Beschel, Helen (Lawrence) Lanovaz, Lucille Smith, Clifford (Jane) Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his: infant daughter Lana; parents Albert and Marie (Bonthoux) Perret, father and mother-in-law John and Victorine (Nicolas) Smith; sisters Alice Dyck, Marie Pelletier, Lucille Perret; brothers Gerard, Benoit, Onile; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Cuong Luong on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Duck Lake, SK. Interment of his ashes will take place at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Cemetery, Duck Lake, SK. Arrangements are in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, (306-232-5245, www.funksfuneralhome.ca).
