Born in Summerside on April 14, 1947, daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Somers) Peters. Wife of the late Hilbert L. Woodside. Mother of Florence (Peter) Gallant, Margate, and Hilbert John (Heather) Woodside, Spring Brook. Grandmother of Nicholas Gallant and Hannah, Haven and Holden Woodside. Great-grandmother to Isabella Gallant and Abigail John. Sister of Betty Doucette, Vennie Matthews, Debbie (Ronnie) Bradford, Robert (Wendy) Peters, Barb Palmer, Norma Peters, Gail (John) Muirhead and Florence Ford. Sister-in-law of William Brander, Kensington; Preston (Louise) Woodside, Brantford, Ont.; Marjorie (David) Stewart, Stoney Creek, Ont; Doris Campbell, Kensington; and Merilla (Wayne) Crossman, Central Bedeque. Predeceased by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Preston and Priscilla (Frizzell) Woodside; brother Mick and wife Betty Peters; sister Shirley Brander and brothers-in-law Hector Doucette, Alfred Ford, George Campbell, James Woodside, Wendell Matthews and Nelson Bernard. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Margate United Church Cemetery.
