Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on November 16th, 2013 in the presence of his loving family, John Luther age 86 years. Predeceased by parents John and Hazel Luther of Carbonear; brother Bill Luther; sister Florence Slade. Leaving to mourn his wife of 63 years Elaine (nee Fradsham); daughter Joan Madden of St. John’s; son Tim (Pam) Luther of Vernon, NY; brother Eric(Shirl) of Exeter, OT ; sisters-in-law: Betty of Halifax, and Daisy Fradsham; grandchildren: Danny (Tammy) Madden, Barry (Angie) Madden, Brenda (Andrew) Madden, and Todd (Mara) Luther; great grandchildren: Gabrielle and Hazel, as well as many other nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives. Cremation had taken place. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday November 19th, 2013 from 10am- 1pm. Funeral service will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Chapel 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday November 19th, 2013 at 2 pm. No flowers by request donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
