Passed peacefully away at home in Chapel Arm, surrounded by his loving family, Nath Reid age 89 years. Predeceased by his parents: Jacob and Emily Reid, brothers Chesley and Aubrey, sisters Gertrude, Susie and Rose; Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 64 years Alma (Legge); daughters: Lorraine Best (Harvey) Linda Reid, Muriel Keating (Robert), Valerie Keating (Terry) Cathie Fougere (Rheal) Lorna Tanner (Ken) Elaine Ivany (George); Sons: Calvin (Pattie) Don (Barb) Nath (Angie); Sister Genevieve Parrott; 23 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A special thanks to Rev. Fry for her many visits who helped us through difficult times. Visitation will be held from Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne Sunday, November 17th, 2013 from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at St. John the Baptist Church, Chapel Arm on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery Long Hr Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nath’s name can be made to the St. John the Baptist Cemetery fund.
