White, Geraldine Eleanor age 70 of Moncton, NB passed away peacefully on Friday, November 15, 2013 at The Moncton Hospital.
Survived by her children Paul (Michelle) Hunsley of Burlington, ON and Susan (Cal) Turgeon of Oakville, ON, grandchildren Taylor, Cameron, Evan and Madeline, brother Raymond (Denise) White of Moncton.
Predeceased by parents Gerald and Jean (Scott) White, brother David White and sister Margaret “Marmie” Torok.
Originally from Amherst she graduated from nursing at the Halifax Infirmary in 1964. Gerry truly loved being a nurse.
Ever strong in spirit, she had a passion for life. Her home in Moncton, her beloved cottage in Jackson’s Point and her many trips to Ontario to visit her children and grandchildren brought her immense happiness. She adored her family and treasured her friends.
Gerry was loved dearly and will remain in our hearts.
Her family will receive visitors at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 -9 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Amherst with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating.
Interment will take place in the St. Charles-Nativity Cemetery, Amherst.
Memorial donations in Gerry’s memory may be made to the Friends of Moncton Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
