At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, November 18, 2013, Chester David of Johnstons River, age 73 years.
Loving father of Chet (Darlene), Kevin (Roberta), Robert (Patti), Aaron (Cheryl), Joseph (Shannon) and Marianne. Chester is also survived by grandchildren - Ella, Marley, Carter, Devyn, Josh, Myah, Anne, Michael and Lauren; brother - Louis (Pat); sisters - Margaret Lavie, Ella David, Gladys Ann MacGillivray (Frank), Laverne Crowtz (Dan), Reatha David and Janie Dixon (Ross). He was predeceased by his wife - Anne David (nee Power); parents - Clarence and Janie David; and brothers - James David and Louis in infancy.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Wednesday, November 20, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 21, at St. Patrick's Church, Fort Augustus, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Ryan Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Patrick's Church or QEH Oncology Unit would be appreciated.
