LEGER, THÉRÈSE - Thérèse Leger, 86, of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Robichaud Office, passed away on Monday, November 18th, 2013 at her residence. Born in Shediac on May 27th, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Venant and Mélina (Thibodeau) Boudreau. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Yvon; two sons: Norbert (Diana Langis) and Guy both of Grand-Barachois; one sister, Simone Lirette of Shediac; three grandchildren: Nadine (Luc Doiron), Daniel and Paul all of Grand-Barachois; two great-grandchildren: Ryan and Celine Doiron all of Grand-Barachois, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by five sisters: Flora, Marie-Anne, Marguerite, Bertha and Lorraine; three brothers: Ovila, Laurie and Clarence.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Center, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. to the time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Henri R.C. Church, Barachois, on Thursday, November 21st, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery. In memory of Therese, a contribution to the Villa Providence Foundation or to the Barachois cemetery would be appreciated.
