LENNOX-Anna Lennox passed away in Herbert Integrated Facility on November 9, 2013. Anna was born June 9, 1923, the sixth child of Henry G. and Katherina (Bueuckert) Hildebrandt in the Hague area. When Anna was seven years of age, the family moved to a farm near Osler, SK. She worked hard, doing the chores and housework a farm girl was required to do. As an adult, Anna was a cashier in a shop in Winnipeg for several years. She found other jobs in B.C. and Alberta, including driving a caterpillar to clear land of trees. Anna married Fred Lennox on September 11, 1964. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Fred – in 1986; her parents, Henry G. and Katherina Hildebrandt; two infant sisters, Maria and Martha; two adult sisters, Tena and Mary; eight brothers, Henry, Barney, Isaac, Peter, Brian, John, Bill, and Abe. Anna is survived by one sister, Helen Krieg; brother Con (Helen); four sisters-in-law, Helen Hildebrandt, Doreen Hildebrandt, Nettie Hildebrandt, and Anne Hildebrandt; as well as many nieces and nephews.The Funeral Service was held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Swift Current Funeral Home, Swift Current, SK, with Pastor Alvin Buhler officiating. “Children of the Heavenly Father“ and “What a Day That Will Be” were sung under the direction of Pastor Dwayne Easton with Jolene Friesen playing piano. The life history was shared by Bill Friesen and a tribute by Shirley Friesen. Special music was brought by Sara Kehler singing, “Give Them All to Jesus” and Sally Friesen singing “Until Then” and “The Holy City”. The Interment Service was held at the Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery, Rhineland, SK, with the following serving as pallbearers, Shirley Friesen, Bill Friesen, Mary Ens, George Tschetter, Harry Friesen, and Vic Friesen.
