At the Saint John Regional Hospital, the sudden passing of Brendon Duncan Jay, of Brudenell, loving husband of Mary (nee Smith) Jay, occurred on Tuesday, November 19, 2013.
Born in Fanningbrook on March 20, 1948, he was the son of the late Duncan and Nora (Woolridge) Jay. Besides his wife, Mary, of 42 years, he is survived by his children, Gregory (Delores) Jay, Mark (Vickey) Jay, Kevin (Kimberley) Jay, Wayne (Annette) Jay; sister, Marilyn (Parker) Wong of Stellarton, N.S.; cherished grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashton, Amadea, Emma Claire, Liam; niece, Jaylyn Smith of Ottawa; and nephew, Murray Wong of Halifax.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting hours on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from St. Mary's Catholic Church, Montague, at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the parish cemetery.
Donations to the Autism Society of P.E.I. or the Montague Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
