With deep sadness we announce the passing of John ‘Jake’ Brown, 65, of Sydney Mines, on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
His family will receive visitors on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at 1 p.m. in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines. A celebration of his life will take place at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Fr. Thomas John officiating.
