MONKMAN, JENNET ELIZABETH (PARTRIDGE) - Jen Monkman passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the age of 85. Dearly loved wife of the late Percival Clarence Monkman and then her long term companion and friend, the late Melchoir McCune. Predeceased by her brother Arthur, by her son John and her daughter-in-law Ellen. Dearly loved by her brother Ernie (Janet) of Dorchester, NB and sister Frances (Gerald Jones) of Petitcodiac, NB and many nieces and nephews. Dearly loved mother of and missed by David (Heather), Mark Daniel, Jim and Pete (Kris). Doting Nanny of Tracey (Ron), Michael (Kim), Jason (Shannon), Mark (Jeanette), Natasha (Shaun) and Jeffrey (Rosie). Great-Nana of Sean, Hannah, Ciara, Eireann, Callan, Avery and Euan.
Friends may call at the Mount Lawn Reception Centre, 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 10 to 11 am. Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 am. Interment in Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
