Francis "Frank" Lorne Everet Hatch of Clintonview Lodge passed away peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Born in Perdue, Sask., on July 15, 1928, Frank worked and traveled throughout much of western Canada until his travels brought him to P.E.I. 25 years ago. During his time on the Island his respectful demeanor and willingness to assist others brought him acknowledgement as a gentleman by all who encountered him along the way. Predeceased by his parents Lorne and Kate Hatch, brothers Maurice, Allen, and Ron Hatch. Survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins in western Canada. Although the fog of dementia clouded his latter years his welcoming smile and quiet acceptance of all each day brought along will be fondly remembered by his special Island friends Freda Doull, Gladys Walsh, Stanley MacDonald, Ivan Peters, Susie and Wayne Walsh. With his earthly journey completed Frank's remains are entrusted to the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, for cremation with no funeral service by his personal request.
