It is with deep sadness and regret we announce the passing of a father, son, and brother.
John Arnold Halloran passed on October 30th, 2013 at his home in Spruce Grove, Alberta, at the age of 49.
As a career John worked for over 20 years in the food industry as a chef in Jasper, Alberta and the last few years as a sales associate.
In John's leisure time he enjoyed motorcycling, golfing, playing hockey, and driving his sports car. He was a loyal and dedicated fan of the Edmonton Oilers.
He is survived by his parents Jim Halloran and Arna Leach, daughter Ashley Halloran, granddaughter Lily Halloran, sister Helen Bowser, brother Jim Halloran (Nadja) and his companion Janet Hospes, nieces Janine, Jennifer, Alexis, and nephew Adamlee, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Ben and Greta Halloran and maternal grandparents Arnold and Helen Leach.
A memorial service will be held at Chants Funeral home, Alexandra St., Sydney, NS on Monday, November 25 at 6 p.m. with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating followed by a reception. Interment in Resurrection cemetery on Tuesday, November 26 at 3:00 p.m.
