Gloria Olga Katherine Filazek, aged 69 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Thursday, November 21st, 2013. In keeping with Gloria’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Gloria was born in Moose Jaw and worked at Pioneer’s Lodge. She was a dedicated caregiver to her mother following the passing of her father. She was an active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and had a personal relationship with her Lord and Savior. Gloria was active in the community with various organizations and was a supporter of the Moose Jaw Warriors. She was predeceased by her parents, Rudolf and Annie Filazek and brother, Wilfred Filazek. Gloria will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, Betty Filazek; nephew, Darryl (Heather) Filazek; niece, Cherene (Bryan) Assman; great-nieces and nephews: Emily Filazek, Sabina Filazek, Declan Filazek, Cole Assman and Owen Assman; as well as numerous other relatives.
