Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, Ronald Kitchener Wheeler, age 79 years (three weeks shy of his 80th birthday). Predeceased by his father, George Wheeler; mother, Florence (Earle) Wheeler; sister: Joan Parrell; niece, Elizabeth and nephew, Bernard. Leaving to mourn his special companion, Genevieve Parsons; special daughters: Dana Soper (Scott) and Tracey Fowler (Paul); sons: Ronnie (Dawn) and Fred (Dawn); his loving grandchildren: Crystal, Geoffrey (Amanda), Kylie, Dawson, Heidi and Samantha; special great-grandson: Austin and another expectant great-grandchild in June; brother, Gerald; sisters: Elizabeth Owens and Doris Wheeler; also other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
