Passed peacefully away Nov 19, 2013, in Los Angeles, California, after a long and eventful life, Vera Madeline McGrath nee Walker, age 96 years. Predeceased by her husband Ron and son Buddy, and brother-in-law Bill Malone. Leaving to mourn her daughter, Joan, and son-in-law Buddy McKinnon of Los Angeles, sister Ada Malone and her devoted nephews Greg, Kerry and Beni Malone in St John’s, many grandchildren in California and Montana, and a wide circle of special friends and relatives. Some readers may remember Vera as the glamorous model in the Bowring Brothers ads on News Cavalcade in the early 1960s. Cremation has taken place in California.
