BRUN, MARIE-ANNE - Marie-Anne Brun, 79, of Cap-Pelé and formerly of Barachois, passed away on Monday November 25, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on July 27, 1934 in Robichaud, she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Emilia (LeBlanc) Lirette. Prior to her retirement in 2005, she was the cafeteria manager at Louis-J.-Robichaud high school since 1976 and the former manager at Chez Léo restaurant. She is survived by five children: Diane Landry (Omer) of Cap-Pelé, Louis, Armand (Manon), Reggie (Tanya) and Paul (Dina), all of Grand-Barachois; six sisters and brothers: Exelda Boudreau (late Noël), Hélène Lirette and Emery Lirette, all of Grand-Barachois, Auréa LeBlanc (Yvon) of Dieppe, Loretta Lirette of Shédiac and Louis (Claudette) of Cocagne; seven grandchildren: Reggie, Monica, Patrick, Jérémie, Sébastien, Josée and Renelle; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Réginald (1975) and one brother, Joseph.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shédiac (532-3297) on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint-Henri R.C. Church in Barachois on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Barachois parish cemetery. In memory of Marie-Anne, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Cardiology Unit) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Frenette Funeral Center, Shediac.
