ALLEN
Norman Dwayne Allen was born in Medicine Hat, AB on October 22nd 1934. He married his wife, Isabelle (nee Roth) on September 10th, 1957 and they have four children.
Dwayne holds a BSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Alberta. After a rewarding career with the Government of Canada as an Electronic Engineer for the Department of Transport in Ottawa, he and his wife Isabelle retired to the beautiful shoreline of Chase, B.C. in 1992. There, Dwayne found the space and time to pursue his passions for music, golf and art.
Dwayne passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Kamloops, B.C. on November 21st, 2013, aged 79 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Isabelle Allen, daughters Tracy (Kasy) Kaczanowski of Brooks, AB, Colleen Allen (Steven Mackinnon) of Toronto, ON, and Heather Allen (David Noonan) of Kamloops, B.C., son Mark (Angie) Allen of Parker Island, B.C., grandchildren Adam and Hayley Kaczanowski, Jaymes Mackinnon, John and Lily Noonan, sisters Darla Bryson, Delores Scott and Doreen Wombold.
Our deepest gratitude to the staff of Kamloops Seniors Village as well as Dr. Mosewich, Dr. Howie and Dr. Honey for the wonderful care that Dad received from them over the years.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 30th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Schoening Funeral Home.
