MacKENZIE, ROBERT "BOB" - 1932 - 2013 - Bob MacKenzie of Lower Coverdale passed away at his residence on Monday, November 25, 2013. Born in Blackville, he was the son of the late Otto and Lucy MacKenzie (Jardine). Bob was a dynamic presence wherever he went. A man of ethics and dignity, who was respected and deeply loved by his wife Beverly, the children of our combined families: daughters, Susan (John), Lisa (Al), Barbara (Jamie), Sherry (Shawn); sons, Charles (Marilyn), Garnet (Stacey), Kenneth; grandchildren, Rodney, Rebecca, Celia, Johnny, Ryan, Bobby, Nicholas, Jessica, Emily, Ethan, Sarah, Garnet, Benjamin and Miranda; and great- granddaughter Skye. Bob will also be remembered by former wife Verna, sisters, Thelma and Joan; brothers, Fred and Otis; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Otto and Lucy, as well as brothers, Beaumont, Kingston and Floyd.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Thursday from 6 to 9pm. A private family service will take place from Lower Coverdale Baptist Church with Rev. James Hammond officiating. The interment will take place in Second United Baptist Church Cemetery, Chipman.
