COREY, DONALD FRASER - Donald F. Corey of Nackawic, NB passed away November 27, 2013 at Upper River Valley Hospital. He was born at Temperance Vale, NB in 1938, a son of the late Fraser and Ruth (Jones) Corey. His working career spanned 50 years, which included Southampton Contractors and Riverbend Log Homes. In addition, he operated a skidoo shop. Donald enjoyed salmon fishing, woodworking and hunting. He also owned standardbred horses. He took great pride in his home and property. He is survived by his wife, Maxine (Morrison) Corey; his children, Teri Myles (Brian), Nackawic, NB and Brent Corey (Joan), Fredericton, NB; four grandchildren, Stephanie Myles, Bobby Myles, Leah Mikucki (Michael) and Emily Corey; two great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Madeline Mikucki; six sisters, Carole Legere, Halifax, NS, Anita Corey, Prince George, BC, Joyce Trimarchi, Toronto, ON, Kristy Craig (Brian), Pickering, ON, Nancy Eldridge (Steve), Temperance Vale, NB and Lisa Pollock (Shane), New Maryland, NB; two brothers, Wayne Corey (Marilyn), Fredericton, NB and Gregory Corey (Loreene), Woodstock, NB; two sisters-in-law, Connie Graham and Esther Calhoun (Robert); several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an infant sister Esther and an infant brother, Robert.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jennifer Brown officiating. Interment at Otis Cemetery.
