It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Shmyr on November 22nd, 2013. Anne Shmyr passed away at the Royal Inland Hospital on November 22nd, 2013, after a brave fight against heart disease. She was 89 years old.

Anne is survived by her daughter Darlene (Gerry) Strinholm of Mackenzie, B.C., son Marvin (Brenda) of Prince Albert, SK, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband of 48 years, Harry, special friend Ralph Eppinger, four sisters, four brothers, and daughter-in-law Betty.

A Memorial Service for Anne will be held on Thursday, November 28th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment and service to be held at a later date, in the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Beatty, SK.
