GERALDINE YAREMKO

Geraldine (Gerry) Gail Yaremko
Born on November 29th, 1945 in Kamsack, SK. Passed away peacefully at home November 29th, 2013 on her 68th birthday. Mom was raised in Norquay, SK and moved to Toronto to attend Marvel School of Beauty. Returning home to work, Mom met her life-long love Lawrence, and in 1963 they married making their home in Esterhazy, Saskatoon and finally Prince Albert for the last 39 years. To know Mom is to feel her love. Family always came first. Mom devoted her life to caring and nurturing her children, grandchildren, and a very special great-grandson, Tyrone whom mom and dad raised. Their hearts and home was always open to family, friends of theirs or ours and anyone in need of a meal or bed. Mom encouraged and believed in us all, was there for us for whatever we needed. She always had words to lift our spirits and truly was our best friend. Mom’s endless hugs and kisses will never be forgotten and missed always. Those left to honor her memory are her husband of 50 years, Lawrence; her son Kirk and grandchildren Rebecca, Raelynn (Roy Ross), Madson Yaremko, and Courtney; her daughter Krystal (Jody) and granddaughters Avaley and Avaira Hammersmith; her great-grandson, Tyrone; her mother, Vonda; sisters, Leocadia Adams, Cornelia (Lawrence) Schiewe, and Sheral (Tom) McCann; in-laws Sylvia, Ron, Suzette, Henry, Isabelle, and Mary; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Marian; brother, Henry; sister, Genevive; parents in-law, William and Katie Yaremko; in-laws, Mike Yaremko, Russell Yaremko and Violet Dudeck.
