At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, of Edythe M. Cole of Darnley aged 79 years. Born in New London on August 31, 1934, daughter and last surviving member of the late Murray and Bertha (Brown) MacKay family. Wife of the late Ralph L. Cole. Mother of Sandra Cole, Garth (Joanne) Cole and grandmother to Emma and Hailey Cole, her daily visitor and family pet Luke all of Darnley. Sister-in-law to Elbert Orr, Mayfield, and Florence Cole, French River. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by the following: sister Shirley Orr, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Edith (late Everett) Sudsbury, Annie Mae, Archibald, Earl, Leigh (late Jean), Ethel, William and Alma Cole who both died in infancy. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Thursday from 6:30-9 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Thomas Anglican Church Cemetery, Spring Brook.
