
Muriel Gray
GRAY, MURIEL MONA (nee WEATHERHEAD) – Muriel Gray peacefully at Longfields Manor Nursing Home, Ottawa, on November 23 at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late Ronald Cecil Gray and daughter of Harry Robert and Rita (Bubar) Weatherhead. She leaves behind daughter Glenna and son-in-law Chris Watson of Ottawa, ON, daughter-in-law Gloria (Gray) Robertson, Trenton, ON, grandchildren; R. Corey Gray of Trenton, ON, Kimberly (Gray) and husband Rick Cooper of Petawawa, ON, Lindsey Martha Watson and step granddaughter Stefanie Watson of Ottawa; great grand children and sister-in-law Audrey (Gray) Coleman of Anagance. She was predeceased by her son Ronald Cecil Jr (Buddy), nine siblings and is mourned by several cousins, nieces and nephews and close friend Jessie Caldwell of St Stephen. Muriel was born and lived in Saint John, NB, but moved to St Stephen for much of her adult life where she worked at the local library and attended the Milltown United Church. Upon retirement she returned to Saint John where she attended the United Church of St Andrew and St David. Upon the death of her husband, she moved to Ottawa to be closer to her daughter’s family.
There will be an open house (visitation/reception) from 11:00 to 1:00 on December 19th, 2013 at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John. Following visitation, family and close friends will gather at Fernhill Cemetery for interment of ashes. Remembrances can be made to the Arthritis Society or Prostate Cancer Canada.
