It is with great sadness that the family of Clyde Bartlett announces his peaceful passing away, at the Bonavista Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He is predeceased by his brother Maxwell and son Keith. Leaving to mourn his wife, Elizabeth (Bessie); his children, Bernice (Dave Hollett); Barry (Peggy); Glendene (Hal Snow); Dale (Heather); Shawn (Madonna); and David (Katherine); his sister, Maxine; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a large circle of friends. Clyde is presently resting at Strathie's Funeral Home, Catalina. Visitation will take place Wednesday 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Thursday 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. A funeral service in Memory of Clyde will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2013, at St. Peter's Anglican Church in Catalina with Reverend Valerie Gillam officiating. Those who so desire may make donations in memory of Clyde to a charity of their choice.
