ROCHESTER, Haley Justine - Age 20, of Windsor, Hants Co., passed away at home on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Born in Kentville, on October 13, 1993, she was a daughter of Michael “Mike” and Darlene (Briggs) Rochester. Haley enriched our lives with her quiet and sensitive spirit. She filled our home with laughter and love and was always ready to share that love with those closest to her. Her reserved nature masked a deeply mischievous side which so often targeted her siblings and parents! To say she will be missed is an understatement. Besides her parents, Haley is survived by sister, Brittany; brother, Timothy; paternal grandmother, Gloria Bowling, Toronto, Ont.; maternal grandparents, Tom and Audrey Briggs, Lockhartville; maternal great-grandparents, Tom and Lilian Briggs, Cornwall, Ont.; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Arrangements were entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where a service to celebrate Haley’s life was held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 9, Rev. Tony Gratto officiated. A reception followed in the funeral home’s Elmcroft Reception Centre. Interment was held in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport.
