Of Southern Harbour passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents Patrick Leonard and Susan Leonard (Whiffen); sisters Doreen Stanley (2000), Catherine Walsh (2003), and Jackie Ryan (2009); stepmother Philomena Leonard (2008). Felix leaves to mourn his sisters Madonna Simon of Port au Port, Madeline Messervey (Albert) of Cole Harbour, Lucy Ennis (Vince) of Goulds and Rita Pittman (Garry) of Brampton; brothers Thomas Leonard (Vera), Leo Leonard (Kathleen) and Bernard Leonard (Marie) all of Southern Harbour. Felix also leaves to mourn Catherine Leonard and a large extended family of nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, December 12th, 2013 at 2 p.m. from Christ the King Church, Southern Harbour. Inurnment to follow at Christ the King Cemetery, Southern Harbour.
