Veard Court
The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, of Veard Court of North Rustico Harbour, age 88.
Veard was the son of the late Beecher and Ella (Affleck) Court. He is survived by his brothers, Emard and Vance (Alice); and sisters, Linda Kurylyk (Alex) and Una Curtis (the late Otto); and his sister-in-law, Marilyn Court. Veard was a much-loved uncle to his nine nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Quintin and Myron.
Veard's family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Villa Marguerite, North Rustico, for their kindness and care.
Family will receive friends at the Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Central Queen's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in Cavendish Community Cemetery.
