Passed away peacefully at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, December 9, 2013, Michael Edmund Walsh, aged 82 years from Port Kirwan, Newfoundland. Leaving to mourn his wife Veronica Walsh (nee Fennelly) and his daughter, Lillian Coady (nee Walsh) and son-in-law, Gary Coady, as well as his sisters and predeceased brothers and other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. and Friday 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Fermeuse. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Lung Association.
