It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Mary Bridget Stamp at Kenny's Pond Retirement Residence on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her husband, T. Gordon Stamp in 2012, her parents, Patrick and Mary Peddigrew (Ricketts), brothers, Gordon (Mercedes), James (Agatha) and Patrick Jr. (Coze), Grandson, Michael Gordon. Left to treasure with a lifetime of wonderful memories, her loving family, Gordon, Jr. (Elaine); David (Sharon); Gerry (Rose), Calgary, AB; Sharon (Lloyd Lipinski), Toronto, ON; Rev. Father Douglas Stamp, Toronto, ON; Rick (Clare); Garry; Marilou (Greg Brummund) Red Deer, AB; Laurie (Jacquie) St. Albert, AB and Lynn, Edmonton, AB; nineteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also lovingly remembered by her dear nieces and nephews as well as her lifelong card club buddies, Theresa Marshall, Frances Shano & Elaine Shortall. Special thanks to her good friend, Mrs. Jean Riggs and the staff at Kenny's Pond Retirement Residence (especially the 2nd Floor) and Dr. Patrick O'Shea. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday, December 15 and Monday, December16, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place at Mary Queen of Peace, Torbay Road on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 2:30 PM. Cremation to follow. Inurnment in the Field of Honour, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers greatly accepted or donations can be made to Mary Queen of Peace Food Bank.
