Passed peacefully away at his late residence, Bay Roberts on Monday, December 09, 2013, Mr. James D. Mercer, aged 83 years. Predeceased by parents Isaac and Janet Mercer, wife Bertha (Deering) Mercer, sister Evelyn (Joseph) Fellows, brother-in-law Allistair Shute. Leaving to mourn his wife Ethel (Noseworthy) Mercer, son Isaac (Bernice) Mercer, daughters: Jean (Cyril) Jacobs, Mae (Cyril) Boone, Paula (Albert) Snow; sister Mae Shute; grandchildren: Jeffrey (Leah), Christa, Megan, Lori (Wayne) Brian (Carrie), Jamie, Jennifer (Mark), Matthew (Laura); great grandchildren: Jack, Isaac, Samuel; Also the Deering family, the Butt and Noseworthy families and special friend Andrew Butt.
Rested at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Funeral Service took place on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 2 p.m from Central United Church and Cemetery, Bay Roberts. Donations were made to the Central United Church.
