Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 of Mr. Hugh F. MacKinnon of Covehead and formerly of Charlottetown in his 68th year.
Beloved husband of Anita (nee Bain). Dear father of Leah (John) Carr, Robbie MacKinnon (Wendy), Corey Watts and Tara (Darren) White. Loving Grandfather of Jason Tillman (Candace), Patrick Tillman, Alex Carr, Tristan, Pagan and Lacey Watts, Eric Herrell, MacKenzie and Cameron White and Justin and Jacob MacKinnon. He is also survived by his sister, Marion (George) Lee; brother, Billy (Kim) MacKinnon; and his first wife, Irene. He was predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Jean (Prunty) MacKinnon, and his brother, Bernie. Hugh was also a long time friend of Bill W.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visiting hours on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be held on Saturday with funeral service at 1:30 p.m in the funeral home chapel. Cremation will follow and interment will take place later in Sherwood Cemetery.
