LORNA ANGELINE CONNORS
We, the family of the late Lorna Connors, would like to express our appreciation for the outpouring of love and support we received from our family and friends. We were overwhelmed to see all those who came to celebrate her life. Thank you for your visits, donations to various charities, Mass cards, sympathy cards, and food. We would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Stephen MacDougall for the excellent care he gave Lorna over the many years. We would also like to thank Dr. Hussein and Dr. Shivakumar (Halifax). Thank you to Lorna's nieces, Leanne Connors, Erin King and Courtney Mancini for their beautiful readings at the funeral. We would also like to give a special thank you to the Honour Guard of nurses from Saint Elizabeth Hospital, St. Rita's and the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Our appreciation is extended to the honourary pallbearers, Joe MacKinnon, Wendell Connors, George Connors, Ivan Torres, Chris King, Paul King, and Karl King. Special thanks to our son, Kelly, for his outstanding eulogy for his Mother. We would like to extend our appreciation to Fr. Duaine Devereaux, the Our Lady of Fatima choir, and the Lazarus Committee for the wonderful service and reception they provided. We would also like to acknowledge and thank Bill Curry and the wonderful staff of T.W. Curry for their help, compassion and professional care. Lorna would have been so pleased.
