Kaulback, Linda Joan – Bible Hill

Kaulback, Linda Joan – 62, of Bible Hill, passed away December 18, 2013 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, with her family by her side following a short battle with cancer. Born in Fredericton, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Ramona (Hicks) Desrosier. She worked in Colchester Regional Hospital in dietary for 25 years, and more recently as a volunteer in the hospital’s gift shop. She and her husband were very involved in the development of the retirement village on Cassandra Court and Christopher Lane in Bible Hill. Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Gordon; daughter, Katherine (Alan) Tucker; son, Stephen (Michelle), Truro. She was so proud of her grandchildren, Cassandra (Phillip) Alan, Christopher, Brittany; and her pride and joy, great grandchildren, Hailey and Gracelyn.

She is survived by siblings, Stephen, Annette, Brenda, all of Fredericton; Diane, Truro; sisters-in-law, Katherine Morse, Mary (Dwight) Tyler, Marjorie (Randall) Ferguson; brother-in-law, Frank (Terri); many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Colchester East Hants Health Centre and V.G. Hospital. By her request, cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Co-op, Upper Musquodoboit. A graveside service will be held in the spring. Donations may be made to Colchester East Hants Health Foundation – Palliative Care Unit, or a charity of choice.
