GUIMOND, BERNADETTE (RICHARD) - (1926-2013) - RICHIBUCTO, NB - Bernadette Guimond 87, of Bouctouche passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Thursday, December 19, 2013. Born in Cap Lumiere, she was the daughter of the late Maxime and late Rose (Richard) Richard. Before retiring, Bernadette was employed at the Cartier Coop in Richibucto for 30 years. She was a member of the Richibucto Golden Age Club and the C.W.L. Bernadette will be sadly missed by her four sisters; Corenne Richard of Bouctouche, Thérèse Melanson (late Ernest) of Moncton, Cecile Dupuis (late Norman) of Dieppe, Huberte Myer (Len) of Moncton, one brother; Edouard Richard (Janice) of Cap Lumiere, one sister-in-law; Alice Richard of St. Charles and several nieces and nephews. Bernadette was predeceased by her parents, her husband; Gerald Guimond, two sisters; Jeanne Babineau (Laurent), Leona Richard, and two brothers; Jean Paul Richard and Vincent Richard (Stella).
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Friday, December 27, 2013 at noon until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 27 at 2:00 pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Donations in Bernadette's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
