YOUNG , GERALD ROBERT (JERRY) - Gerald Robert (Jerry) Young of McAdam, N.B., lost his valiant battle with lung cancer on December 19, 2013. As per his wish, he passed away in the comfort of his home, with his wife Claudia and beloved little dog Casey, by his side. Jerry was the oldest son of the late William G. and Dorothy J. (Maxwell) Young and is survived by his wife of 48 years, Claudia, two sons, four beloved granddaughters, one "favorite" grandson, three great-granddaughters, two sisters, one brother, nieces and nephews, cousins and one aunt.
Funeral service will be held at St. Paul's United Church, Saunders Rd., McAdam, N.B. on December 23, 2013 at 2 PM. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday, Dec. 23 from 12-2 PM. Interment at Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, N.B., at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to McAdam Food Bank, McAdam Historical Railroad Commission, or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
