GREENE, MARY EMMA - (1933 - 2013) - Mrs. Mary E. Greene of North Head Grand Manan Island passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital Friday, December 20, 2013. Born in Pleasantville, NS she was the daughter of the late Rev. Frank and Lucille (Wright) Mollins. Mary was a devoted loving mother and wife to her family and husband. Her quiet presence and caring personality will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her two daughters Debbie (Gary) McKinley of Saint John, Kathleen (David) Basque of Dartmouth, NS. Her three sons; Brian Greene of North Head, Chris Greene of Ingalls Head, and Richard (Heather) Greene of Castalia. One sister Helen Lawson of New Glasgow, NS, and one brother Rev. George (Sandra) Mollins of Middleton, NS. Nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband Carman in June of this year. Also one sister Winifred Ramsay.
Visiting took place at Ells Funeral Home on Sunday from 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will take place from the Community Life Church in Grand Harbour on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Jeff Benson officiating. There will be a reception immediately following the service and all who attend are welcome to stay for a time of fellowship. Donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
