For all the things you are - daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and devoted friend - Isabelle Harnum passed away peacefully at the Carbonear General Hospital on Dec. 25, 2013 after leading a full vibrant life and enriching the lives of those she came in contact with. Her tired little mind and body simply wore out. Her soul, however, has now gone on to join her husband Wendell of 65 years. During most of their marriage they lived in Heart's Delight, with the last several in Golden Years Manor and most recently with her residing in Shag Rock Manor in Whiteway. Leaving with fond and wonderful memories are her son Robert (Grace), Judy (Tim), Paula (Ernie); grandchildren Christina (Mark), Staci (John), great grandchildren Sarah and Johnnie. Isabelle was predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters - Clarence, Lloyd, Calvin, Daphne, Margaret, Nellie and Emily and survived by 2 sisters Cairine (Fred) and Gladys. Resting at Bethel United Church Heart's Delight with visitation on Sunday, December 29th from 2:00 - 9:00pm. A Service of celebration and thanksgiving for her life will be held on Monday, December 30th at 2:00pm. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Isabelle's memory may be made to Bethel United Church, Heart's Delight.
