It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Layton Parkman of Kamloops, BC, on December 24th, 2013 at 82 years of age.

Layton is survived by his children Rick (Nancy) and Wendy, both of Kamloops, BC; grandchildren Desiree (Shawn), Bryanna (Mike), Leah (Matt), Jamie, and Jennifer (Alex); as well as his great-grandchildren Keaton, Aliyah, Mya, Scarlett, Jameson and Abigal; and special sister-in-law Shirley (Willie).

He was predeceased by his wife Patty, son Grant and daughter Vonna.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Doug Hamilton, staff and volunteers at Hospice for all the special care you gave to our Dad and Poppa.

A Celebration of Layton's Life will be held on Saturday, January 4th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Kamloops Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Layton's memory, may be made to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home.
