Robert 'Red' Street, 85 of St. Peter’s, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Orillia, Ont., he was the son of the late Robert and Iva (Mowry) Street.
Red was a florist and former owner of Street’s Flower Shop in Orillia, Ont He was a member of St. James Anglican Church.
Red is survived by his wife, Betty (Bennett); daughter, Debbie (Don) Sheaffer, Pennsylvania; sons, Rick (Julie), Burlington, Rob (Sharon), Orillia; sister, Doris Kehoe, Orillia; grandchildren, Ryan, Katie, Robbie, Holly, Natalie and Kurtis, and great-grandchildren, Alvia and Rylee.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, 2 - 4 p.m. at the Bonnie Brae Club, St Peter’s. Funeral service will take place in Orillia, Ont. at a later date.
