Brown, Jessie M. – 80, of Southampton passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan surrounded by her loving family. Born in Fox River, she was a daughter of the late J. Stanley and Annie (Glennie) Lake. Jessie always had a smile. She was an avid animal lover, enjoyed long drives, was a fabulous cook, but most of all she was happiest when surrounded by her family. She is survived by daughters, Debbie Swetnam (Peter), Amherst; Janice Mosher (Terry), 100 Mile House, B.C.; Cathy Hunter (Bruce Tobin), Lorneville; a son, Gerald "Jerry" (Bev), Parrsboro; a sister, Cynthia Hatfield, Fox River; a brother, Harold Lake, Sussex, N.B.; grandchildren, Jason Swetnam (Della), January Brown (Scott Leopold), Jennifer Brown (Adam Robinson), Terry Mosher (Amanda), Ashton Hunter; great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Julia, Cole, Camden, Maisie, Jack, Emerson, Rowen and Desiree; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald “Jake” in 2010; her twin sister, Jeanette; her brother, Jim; her step-mother, Marion (Lunn) Lake.
