Cliff was born in Stelcam, SK. on September 22, 1923 and had just recently celebrated his 90th birthday. He lived in Drinkwater until 1957 and then moved to Moose Jaw, his home until his passing. As a young boy he sang in the United Church choir. One of his favorite songs was "The Old Rugged Cross". As a young man he worked for the Flemings in Drinkwater as a mechanic. In 1948 he met and married Sheila Wynandts of Truax. In November of 2013 they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. The first three of their four boys, Gerry, Gene and Terry were born while they lived in Drinkwater, and the youngest of the four, Blaine, was born after they moved to Moose Jaw. After moving to Moose Jaw, Cliff went to work for Maccam Motors as a mechanic. He worked there for 22 years until they closed in 1979. While working for Maccam's he enjoyed curling, playing ball and hockey on their company teams. Cliff then went to work for the Moose Jaw Housing Authority as a roving caretaker. He did an excellent job and was dearly loved by all the seniors, especially those in High Park Towers. Cliff retired in 1988, but still loved to tinker in his garage. He worked on all kinds of vehicles for his family, brothers, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed helping out the neighborhood seniors by mowing their lawns and shoveling their snow. He also joined the bowling league and really enjoyed that until he had to quit due to ill health. Cliff is predeceased by his parents, Reuben and Thankful Miller, brothers Claude (Edna), Lee, Rob, and sisters Eileen (John), Edna (Allan), Rita (John) and Helen (Wally). He is survived by his wife Sheila, four sons and their wives, Gerry and Cheryl, Gene and Sharon, Terry and Corry, and Blaine and Shannon.
