Christine J. Rougeau died October 24th, 2013 in the Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, B.C, from metastasized cancer and complications.

She was born June 11th, 1962 to Walter M. Cooper and Jeanne R. Rougeau (Cooper) in Grostenquin, France. She graduated from Smokey Lake high school, then the University of Alberta with a B.A. in English. Christine was in the B&B business with her sister Caroline, then a partner in the family business, Go Box Storage. Latterly she and Erna incorporated another family business.

She is survived by her loving partner, Erna, sister Caroline (husband Shaen and daughters Sonja and Erika), one brother Garth and her father Walter M. Cooper (Joan A. Owen).

Interment took place October 28th, 2013 at the Royal Oak Burial Park (green section), Victoria, B.C.

During her three weeks at the Royal Inland Hospital, Christine was amazingly strong and calm.

I would like to thank the nurses and other involved staff at the ICU, 6N and 7N sincerely for their wonderful support and skills. You are all amazing people, thank you.

We all miss Christine unimaginably.
