John Hawriliuk of Moose Jaw passed away on January 9, 2014 at the age of 90. Dad was born Nov. 22, 1923 in Valeva, Ukraine to Alex and Martha Hawriliuk. He came to Canada June 1949. He will be sadly missed by his wife Carolina; daughter Martha and family, son Bob(Peggy) and family, daughter Nancy (Dennis) and family; grandchildren, great grandchildren; one niece and family in Ukraine; sister in law Hilda and family in the U.S.A.; cousins and family in Moose Jaw and Regina; as well as close friends in England. Dad is predeceased by his parents; father in law John Wakish and mother in law Eva Wakish; brother Wasil and wife Domna, brother Daroftay; brother in law Gordon Wakish; son in law Walter Kondratowicz; Uncle Bill Babiuk as well as other family members. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday January 15, 2014 at 10:30 am at W. J. Jones and Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca St E., Moose Jaw. Father John Bingham will preside. A Prayer service will be held on Tuesday January 14, 2014 at 7:00 pm at W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel.
