Dorothy Helen MacPhee, age 49, of Springhill, NS, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at All Saints Hospital, Springhill.
Born in Springhill, NS, she was the youngest daughter of the late Stanley and Lee (Higgins) Wood.
Dorothy spent her life in Springhill where she worked as a Personal Care Worker in her younger days and then devoted the rest of her life to her loving family. She enjoyed nature, and in her spare time loved watching movies and t.v. shows with her loved ones.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Allan, Springhill; sons Cody and Mikey, Springhill; brothers Bert (Margot), Malagash, Guy (Yolande), Shortts Lake, Clint (Sarah), Greenfield; sisters, Priscilla Murphy, Bible Hill, Eileen (Wayne) Hewitt, Wallace, Darlene (Tom) Haywood, Sackville, Lorna (Bernie Daisley) Wood, Springhill, and Reta (Peter) Crowe, Truro; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to A H Brown Funeral Service, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361) where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 2 pm, Rev. Wayne McCarther officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
