(August 23, 1928 - January 15, 2014): Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at Tiffany Village, Basil Jamieson, age 85 years. Predeceased by his parents: Charles and Isabella; his brothers: Donald, Hubert and Colin; his sisters: Norma Robson and Betty Levers. Left with fond and loving memories his wife of 36 years Lorna; his children: Debbie (Tony); Lee Anne (Brian), Scot (Karen), Craig (Kim), Kent (Dionna), Paul (Sherry) and Janet (Dave); grandchildren: Sean, Hannah, Kenny, Adam, Shane, Amanda, Brittany, Kirsten, Curtis, Jill, Justin, Jeremy, Alicia, Corey, Stephen and Kayla; six great-grandchildren: sister-in-law: Ida; very special friend, Mike Donovan as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at Tiffany Village for their wonderful care and devotion. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James United Church.
