Age 92 (June 17, 1921) of Long Harbour. Passed peacefully away at the Lions Manor Nursing Home on Monday January 20, 2014. Predeceased by wife of 35 years Ruth Elizabeth (2011) and first wife Imelda (1950), son Denis Ralph and baby daughter Verna Elizabeth; parents Andrew and Elizabeth (nee Bruce); brothers Michael (Helen), Cyril, Andrew (Margaret), sister Mary Ann Keating, brother-in-law George Murphy, sister-in-law Helen Burke. Leaving to mourn daughter Lyla (Ray) Keating, grandsons Steven and Josh (Laura), great-grandchildren Landon and Chloe; sister Elizabeth Murphy, brothers John (Gladys), Edward, sister-in-law Lorraine Burke, stepson Steven Webb (Debbie), step-granddaughters Tanya (Darryn) & step great-grandson Walker Beaudry, Tina Webb (Mike), Gina Webb; also a large circle of other relatives and friends, special friends Kenneth and Noreen King and Raymond Bruce. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or a charity of choice. Resting at Holloways Funeral Home, Whitbourne on Tuesday, January 21st from 2 - 5 & 7 - 9 and Wednesday, January 22nd from 10 - 12.
